Professor Lazarus is Chairman of the UK Iodine Group.

Professor Lazarus is Emeritus Professor of Clinical Endocrinology and Honorary Consulting Physician at Cardiff School of Medicine, Cardiff, UK. He is also Regional Coordinator for West Central Europe for the Global Iodine Network (formerly International Council for the Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders – ICCIDD)
